Brussels’ Kurdish community has held demonstrations against Turkey’s military operations in Afrin, Syria. In January, Turkey began an offensive against the Syrian Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG), which Ankara considers a terror organization. The Kurds deny they are a terror group.
